Although some would say that Konnokova’s claims that you can’t have a deep connection through social media is false, I disagree. I don’t think it undermines the claims of Konnikova because it does still apply to Phelps-Roper’s story. Although she learned so much about the world and other people’s views of society and the world she did not have a deep connection with any of them except CG and Abitol. She could see what was going on  around her locally and internationally by being able to see the news and what people’s opinions were about the issues in society and the world.
